Our Inclement Weather Policy: Our general rule for closure of the Senior Center during bad weather is that if the Murray City Schools close, then we are closed. There are times when we deviate from that, however. So...the best way to find out if we are closed is to watch WPSD-TV, check out wpsdlocal6.com/weather, or listen to local radio stations WFGE-FM 103.7 or WNBS-AM 1340.

At the Murray Calloway County Senior Citizens Center, we believe that a person's senior years can be some of the greatest of their life, filled with great activities, friendships, fun, and new experiences. It is commonly known that socialization for seniors leads to longer and more satisfying living, and we are here to facilitate that socialization. We are located in the Weaks Community Center at 607 Poplar Street on the corner of Poplar and S. 6th Street, Murray, KY.

Our mission is to encourage and to assist Senior Citizens in leading independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes and to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to their mental, physical, and emotional well being.
